TELL ME WHICH WINE YOU ARE,
I’LL TELL YOU WHICH CORK YOU NEED

IT’S THE WINES THAT DICTATE THE STOPPERS

All our stoppers are the result of a serious commitment to quality, but not all of them serve the same wine or sparkling wine. It is necessary to understand each need in order to find the best alternative.

NATURAL CORK STOPPERS

Natural cork stoppers are obtained through the most natural process of punching the entire cork strip. Because they are the most natural corks, they are the most premium corks.

VIVA® SPARKLING WINE CORK STOPPERS

Viva® stoppers are used for some of the best sparkling wines in the world. Sparkling wine presents challenges in terms of stoppers, which have to be able to withstand higher pressures while maintaining consistency and the specified insertion and extraction forces.

SILKTOP® TECHNICAL CORK STOPPERS

Technical cork stoppers are technically advanced and allow a good sealing of a wine of considerable value. They are mainly manufactured for entry level wines, which could benefit from short-term ageing (three to four years).

NEO® MICRO AGLOMERATED CORK STOPPERS

With micro-agglomerated NEO® stoppers, consumers can appreciate the look and feel of natural cork, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the quality and sustainability of the cork stopper value chain. After punching the natural cork stoppers, cork shavings are carefully selected and processed.

EVACORK® COLMATED CORK STOPPERS

Colmated cork stoppers are a response to the winemaker’s challenge of maintaining the attractiveness of the wine with a natural cork stopper, at a very competitive price. We can supply FSC® certified products (FSC – C009204) upon request.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE QUALITY OF OUR CORK STOPPERS

ORGANOLEPTIC NEUTRALITY OF THE STOPPERS

MASILVA’s main commitment is to make the commitment to quality cork stoppers viable, by involving all the players in the organisation’s value chain and raising their awareness of food safety for the end consumer, as well as the sustainable management of forests.

Quality is guaranteed through the organoleptic neutrality of the stoppers. Reliable stoppers that efficiently seal bottles of wine and other alcoholic beverages.

There are many other associated commitments – the know-how of our teams, the selection of the best raw materials, the continuous development of cutting edge technologies – which allow us to continue to believe that our cork stoppers have an unrivalled quality when compared with other solutions.

In addition to the quality of the cork stoppers, which determines the sustainable development of our group, we seek stable economic results, which allow us to continually invest in research, development and innovation, always prioritising social responsibility at the level of the local communities in the various parts of the world where our group is physically present.
