This system uses not only ozone, but also the most powerful peroxone, a combination of ozone and hydrogen peroxide, to disinfect and clean cork stoppers. The solution eliminates microorganisms and spores, and oxidizes organic impurities and compounds, such as phenols and anisols, which can be precursors of compounds with unwanted aromas. The Technical Stoppers silktop advanced ®, usually designated as 1 + 1, consists of a body of microaglomerado composed of Cork Granules, with a disc also of natural cork in each of the tops. This product presents a visible face of natural cork both for wine and for the consumer, maintaining properties similar to natural corks.
